Red Velvet’s Seulgi Is 1 of 25 Artists Chosen For Converse’s Unique Campaign
It has been revealed that Red Velvet‘s Seulgi has taken part in Converse Korea’s new campaign.
On February 4th, Converse Korea took to their Instagram page to launch their brand new campaign with the hashtag, #lets_tear_down_the_walls. The specific “wall” that this campaign intends to tear down is the age barrier that is heavily prevalent in South Korea. “What do you know, you’re too young” is a commonly used phrase within the nation and it seems that Converse Korea is planning on breaking that stereotype. One of the impressive artists that is taking part in this unique campaign is none other than the multi-talented Red Velvet member, Seulgi.
The shoe brand has plans to utilize 25 different “all-stars” who are featured in their campaign to break down this wall. These all-stars were specifically chosen because of their talent within their respective artistic communities. Their noticeable talent gives them an opportunity to enhance their social voice within their communities, which is what Converse Korea is hoping for with this campaign.
Red Velvet’s Seulgi is joined with numerous other talented artists such as, Y2K92 musician Jibin, graphic designer Lee Kyu Chan, illustrator Myokahara and painter N5BRA to take on this journey together. These amazing artists all hail from different communities, but shine in their respective artistry so that they may represent South Korea’s culture in different ways.
Seulgi is known within the idol community for her awe-inspiring vocal and dancing abilities. She has featured in numerous songs for different artists due to her outstanding singing talent. She has also taken part in a plethora of dance performances thanks to her powerful, but sharp dance moves that captivate the audience. The Red Velvet member is praised time and time again not only for her recognizable talent, but also for her hard work ethic and charitable acts. It is no wonder Converse Korea chose Seulgi out of the many idols to be a part of their incredible campaign.
