tvN’s “The List 2015” reveals Girls’ Generation’s income from last year
In a recent airing of The List 2015, the show revealed approximately how much Girls’ Generation earned last year.
Aired on August 31st, over 5,000 people participated in a poll that chose the roster of Korea’s top stars with Girls’ Generation landing in 14th place.
According to the television show, Girls’ Generation generated over 22 billion won, or $18,607,160 USD, in sales last year. Girls’ Generation was not highly active in Korea in 2014, only releasing the mini-album Mr.Mr. in February, while focusing on group activities in Japan and following individual member schedules as well as unit promotions for the majority of the year.
Currently, they are promoting their 5th studio album Lion Heart and the title track of the same name.
