One. Case debuts with MV for title track “Pathetic Woman”
Trio One. Case debuted on November 5th with the music video release of their track “Pathetic Woman.”
One. Case, a new group under JL Entertainment, is comprised of members Tae Bin, Chan Suk, and Ji Nyu. Originally the group was meant to contain more than five members but in the end, it was decided that having three members would better showcase the group’s strong harmonies. After releasing a music video teaser on November 2nd, they have finally debuted with their title song.
“Pathetic Woman” is a breakup story that focuses on a new and original perspective, as group sings “I would rather you step on me and leave, you truly pathetic woman.” It was composed by DK$HINE and written by Oh Hyun Joo. DK$HINE has worked with talented acts such as Davichi, FT Island, Dalshabet and Oh Hyun Joo has written lyrics for JYJ, Baek Jiyoung, and Ajax.
The video shows the trio singing at a lounge while a woman is going through an altercation with her man. As One. Case displays their beautiful vocals onstage it seems as if a drama is occurring offstage. The music video paints the story very simply and well while the trio’s voices are highlighted all around. Their voices create harmonious melodies and the rap that is interjected gives off a powerful and angry vibe which compliments the sweet and gentle vocals.
