ASTRO, MAMAMOO, NCT Dream And More Acts Announced For Upcoming Online “Korea-UAE” K-Pop Festival
On March 18, the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism announced the line-up for their Korea-UAE Festival.
Some of the names that have been confirmed are ASTRO, MAMAMOO, and NCT Dream. Alongside these names, other artists have been announced for the line-up, including THE BOYZ, aespa, and B.I.G.
The cultural event will be held jointly with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Culture and Youth to “celebrate 40 years of bilateral ties.”
The Korea-UAE Festival will run online between March 31 to April 2. The event aims to promote Korean content to local people in the UAE and K-pop performances for global fans!
In a statement from the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hwang Hee, he explained the event’s message.
Despite the challenges caused by COVID-19, this event, to be opened in a noncontact format, will form a future-oriented cultural community between both countries and offer an opportunity to expand cultural exchanges and cooperation throughout the Arab world.

Fans will be able to watch the performances on various platforms, including SBS‘s The K-pop YouTube channel and Naver’s VLive platform.
