GOT7’s Youngjae Focused On Dancing While Promoting With The Group, Here’s What He Wants To Do As A Solo Artist
In a recent interview with ELLE Korea, GOT7‘s Youngjae spoke briefly about what he wants to show as a solo artist.
Youngjae humbly shared that for GOT7 activities, he worked really hard when it came to dancing since the other members are great at dancing.
During GOT7 activities, Youngjae was a dancer-singer, and he had to put a lot of focus and effort into his dancing. When GOT7 has group activities again, Youngjae will again have to be a dancer-singer.
Due to this, for his solo music activities, Youngjae wants to focus more on his singing.
I want to focus a little more on singing because, as a member of GOT7, honestly, I spent more time on dancing. And I’ve focused on dancing thus far, so I want to place my focus back on singing.

In early 2021, it was announced that all the GOT7 members would not be renewing their contracts with JYP Entertainment. While the members are now no longer under the same company, they have stated numerous times that they are still together, and they released their song “ENCORE” to let Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom) know this.
