Singer Lee Hyun Renews Contract With Big Hit Entertainment
Lee Hyun, who was the first singer signed to Big Hit Entertainment, will be renewing his contract with the company.
In regards to the renewal of Lee’s contract, Big Hit was happy to continue and support his future activities.
Based on the strong trust that has accumulated over a long period of time, we have signed a renewal with Lee Hyun. We plan to fully support him so that he can show his best ability as an artist. We ask for your interest for his future activities.
Lee Hyun, who first signed his contract with Big Hit in 2007, expressed how meaningful this renewal meant to him.
I’ve been with Big Hit since I was a trainee in 2005. From then until now, both the company and I have gone through the process of becoming adults together. It’s not easy for even a close friend to have such a long relationship. This is why the renewal of this contract feels even more meaningful to me. I hope that Big Hit will become an even more great company and I hope to be a singer that can help them on that journey.
After signing with Big Hit in 2007, he debuted as the group 8Eight. In 2010, he joined the male duo Homme with 2AM’s Changmin and further broadened his music spectrum. He has also garnered success as a solo artist.
