Block B’s Zico MOCKED By Netizens For Demanding Apology From LG
Netizens criticize Block B Zico after asking LG Household & Health Care for public apology.
It was reported that LG Household & Health Care, a sub-branch of one of Korea’s largest electronic company LG, used Zico’s name in their product without his permission.
Translation: “2. Block B Zico Lips ~ Aqua Tinted Rouge~!”
Although it hasn’t been reported that the LG Household & Health Care has sent an official apology to Zico’s agency Seven Seasons and even asked to visit in person to make an apology, Zico and Seven Seasons has denied such apology for couple reasons.
They claimed that the apologies were insincere and they wanted the official statement regarding the apology to be made public by the media. After sending an official apology, LG Household & Health Care sent another one finally including the word ‘apology’ for the use of his name. However, LG still politely included list of reasons that by law, Zico wouldn’t be able to sue them for effecting the negativity of their income or hurting him psychologically for the use of his name.
LG included in the statement:
“We apologize again for the discomfort we have caused by using ‘Block B’ or ‘Zico’ in our products.”
But after still wanting a public apology through the media, netizens turned their backs towards Zico and Seven Seasons for continuing something that is unnecessary especially when LG has already made an apology.
