2PM Taecyeon responds to TMZ’s racist coverage of EXID

Following f(x)’s Amber’s message in light of the racist TMZ coverage of EXID’s KMF airport arrival, 2PM’s Taecyeon has also made a response.

On May 4th, Taecyeon took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the controversial video clip that has earned itself a plethora of negative comments. His statement echoes the sentiment shared by Amber as well as many netizens in their scorn for the recent TMZ video. Vocalist Roy Kim also expressed his agreement by sharing Amber’s tweet with an “Amen to this.”

Taecyeon’s post reads: “When they make fun of a person’s accent do they not realize that said person is able to fluently speak another language? ㅋㅋㅋ The mentality behind making fun of someone who greeted fans in their own language is just wow…”
