[★BREAKING] Artist Joanne killed in fatal car accident while in the United States
Korean-American solo artist Joanne has been reported to have passed away after a fatal collision that occurred on November 26th, 2014.
Joanne, who debuted in South Korea as a solo artist in 2001 at the age of 13, was involved in an unfortunate car accident in the United States, just one day before the American Thanksgiving holiday on November 26th, leaving the young singer in a coma for four days before passing away on December 2nd.
Joanne, age 26, had been residing in her home city of Cerritos, Los Angeles County, California.
The young artist first debuted with her hit single, “Sunny Day,” through which she rose to fame at the young age of 13 and received love calls from various show programs and sitcoms with the title of the “New BoA.” Joanne was recognized for her sweet, innocent, and steady vocals as well as being the younger sister of Lee Seung Hyun (also known as Nathan Lee), one of the lead vocals of the 2003 boy group Take.
In 2012, Joanne made appearances on Mnet‘s Superstar K: Season 4 in hopes to restart her career as an artist in South Korea. Unfortunately, the star was unable to leave an impression on the judges at the time of her auditions.
