Lee Kwang Soo and Park Bo Young in talks for new movie “Mutant”
Korean news site TVReport has reported exclusively that Lee Kwang Soo and Park Bo Young are currently being considered for an upcoming K-movie, Mutant.
According to many sources from the Korean movie industry, actress Park Bo Young and Lee Kwang Soo are currently the likely candidates to star in this upcoming project. Mutant will be directed by Kwon Oh Kwang, who had won the “Best Short Film” award at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2013 with his trademark movie, Safe.
Park Bo Young is a relatively young actress, still in her 20’s, and has been given the nickname “Chungmuro Box Office Queen” with her numerous films that attracted much interest from the public. Her many movies include Hot Young Bloods, acting alongside Lee Jong Suk, A WereWolf Boy with Song Joong Ki, and Scandal Makers with Cha Tae Hyun which won her several “Best Actress” awards. It is reported that just last month, Park Bo Young completed filming for the 2015 movie, Girl, and has immediately moved her focus to Mutant as her next project.
Lee Kwang Soo is just as popular, receiving recognition for his acting in 2014 movie Confession, MBC drama Dong Yi, SBS drama City Hunter, and especially when he acted as a patient with Tourette’s syndrome in SBS drama It’s Ok, That’s Love.
Mutant is scheduled to begin filming on November 10th.
