Netizens furious at reporter who started CL and Mino dating rumor with photoshopped pictures

Fan-edited photos are definitely getting more and more impressive, and in one recent case, even a professional reporter was tricked into believing a set of doctored photos were real.

A Korean media outlet recently released an article with alleged proof that 2NE1‘s CL and Winner‘s Song Mino were dating, but netizens quickly pointed out that the photos used in the article were in fact photoshopped. A translation of the article, which was written by Kookmin Daily, and all the photos can be found below:

YG’s CL and Mino are swept up in a dating rumor. On Oct 21st on multiple community sites a picture of the two of them at a hotel and pictures of them donning the same accessory spread all over. A picture of CL at philipines in bikini was uploaded on May 17th to her instagram and the picture of her at a hotel corridor with what looks like Song Mino was uploaded. She was wearing the same clothes and a gown on top.
