Park Yoochun awarded Best Rookie Male Actor for “Haemoo” role
JYJ’s Park Yoochun recently appeared on the big screen with his debut film Haemoo and received an award for his surprising performance.
On November 21st, during the 51st Daejong Film Awards held at KBS Hall, Park Yoochun was awarded the Best Rookie Male Actor for his debut role in Haemoo. Other nominees were Ahn Jae Hong, Yeo Jin Goo, Lim Siwan, and Choi Jin Hyuk.
The film Haemoo, directed by Shim Sungbo, was released on August 13th and tells the story of how a fishing boat crew attempts the dangerous mission of smuggling a group of illegal immigrants from China to South Korea.
Meanwhile, JYJ is in the middle of having their 3rd Japan dome tour Ichigo Inchie which will continue until December. During the memorable dome tour on November 18th, the JYJ members emotionally sang the TVXQ song, “Began” which brought the members to tears. In addition, the trio is also busy preparing to release their new Japanese single.
