Popular Actress Exposes Ex-Husband’s Alleged Physical Abuse And Infidelity Amid Legal Battle

Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu recently shared allegations of abuse and infidelity amid a legal battle with her businessman ex-husband, Wang Xiaofei.
In November 2021, the couple announced their divorce following eleven years of marriage and two children. Hsu would go on to marry her now-husband, Korean musician DJ Koo (Koo Jun Yup), three months later.
Since the split, there has been drama between the pair, culminating in December 2022, when Wang posted their divorce agreement without covering Hsu’s personal information, including her address and bank account numbers, leading to Hsu filing a complaint against him for violating the Personal Data Protection Act.
Wang appeared in court in March 2024, where he accused Hsu of exposing her data on social media first, attempting to make him look bad by saying he did not provide financial support to their family and using his credit card to buy around 376,000 USD worth of luxury goods four months before the divorce for her current husband.
In a post made on Instagram, Hsu denied these allegations and instead made accusations of mistreatment, including abuse and infidelity, during their marriage. The most shocking of the claims Hsu made states that Wang pushed her and threw a book at her while she was pregnant.
“You were the one having an affair, not me. After we divorced, I did use your credit card a few times out of anger, but you signed and approved them. The main point is I have never used your credit card to buy things for my husband.

In the section where she says, “two dead and one severely injured,” Barbie Hsu is referring to her two miscarriages and herself as the severely injured, as confirmed by her manager.
Barbie Hsu has been active in the industry for around three decades and is known internationally for starring in Meteor Garden, a series based on the manga Boys Over Flowers.
