Popular Idol-Actress Caught “Bullying” Director On Camera, Director Responds
An idol-actress was accused of bullying the director of an upcoming project during a wrap party. The director has since spoken up about the incident.
Recently, filming wrapped for Speed and Love, an upcoming Chinese series starring actress Esther Yu and actor He Yu. Esther Yu is an actress, singer, and former member of The9, a project girl group formed through the survival audition show Youth With You 2.

During the wrap party celebrations, Esther Yu gleefully poured liquid over director Yu Zhongzhong‘s head. A clip of this moment went viral, sparking accusations of bullying from some netizens who claimed Esther Yu had poured something other than water on him, such as tea.
The director has since shut down the controversy by stating, “The water is clean, everyone please don’t worry. Wealth rolls in with water, we wish our drama will be a hit!” Esther Yu also wasn’t the only one throwing water around at the event. The cast and crew were reportedly following the tradition of Songkran, Thailand’s water-splashing festival, by getting a little wet and wild at the party.
