Famous Actress Claps Back At Netizens Bashing Her For Being Too Old To Have Kids
A famous actress went on live broadcast and clapped back at netizens who left harsh comments questioning her ability to have children at her age.
Joe Chen debuted in 2001 through Lavender, a TV drama in Taiwan. She became a household name after setting viewer records with her works, including The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog and Fated To Love You, as the female lead.
She met her husband, Alan, through a reality show in 2019 and the pair got married in 2022. Joe, who was born in 1979, turned 45 this year.
Recently, Joe addressed netizens’ hate comments through a live broadcast. In particular, netizens accused her of being too old to have children and “Look at her, she can’t have kids, so she’s definitely going to get divorced later.”
To this, Joe responded bluntly.
Is the length of a marriage dependent on having kids? If you have ten kids, does that mean your marriage would last long? That’s such a weird point of view.

Some netizens also criticized her for raising a dog but not having kids, sarcastically saying they hope her dog will take care of her when she gets old. Joe revealed that this made her laugh.
“I don’t think you understand dogs because my dog isn’t going to be around when I’m old. Oh, sorry, she has been spayed, so she can’t have kids either. I’m sorry~ She can’t have kids to have them take care of me either.
As for worrying about not having anyone take care of me when I’m old, how about you take care of yourself first? Why do you care about whether I’ll get taken care of? I probably live my life better than you live yours.
Does whether I have kids have that big of an impact on society? If you want kids, then go have kids yourself.”

Hopefully, netizens will stop bombarding her with hate comments regarding her age and ability to have kids.
