Famous Singer’s Son Refused To Speak To Her For 2 Years
A certain famous artist was infamous among her own family members for several years.
Stella Chang is a singer who is active in Taiwan. She was one of the core faces of Mandopop before she left the industry in 2005 to marry banker Sung Hsueh Jen. Rumors had it that they split as a result of the latter’s “controlling” behavior.
It was soon made public that her younger son refused to speak to her for an entire two years. Stella opened up about her divorce in the podcast Eh? Where Was I? by producer Wang Wei Zhong.
She noted that she and her husband were together for 15 years and had two children within this period: Nathan (currently 18 years old) and Nicholas (16 years old). They were 14 and 13 years old respectively when the divorce was finalized.
Without explaining why, Stella revealed that older son Nathan was made aware of the proceedings while Nicholas was not. As soon as the latter found out, he burst out in anger and refused to speak to her for two years.
In their case, time and family healed all wounds. Nicholas realized with his grandmother’s presence that everything will be alright again.
When my younger son returned to my home and saw his grandma there, he realized that his mother’s love for him will always be there, and we became close again.
