A Top Celebrity Couple Has Reportedly Broken Up
After three years of dating, an actor-actress couple is reportedly going their separate ways. The news comes less than a year after their engagement rumors began to circulate.
One half of the couple is Yamazaki Kento, a popular Japanese actor and model best known for starring in films such as Your Lie in April and series such as Netflix‘s Alice in Borderland. The other is Hirose Suzu, a popular Japanese actress and model who rose to fame after appearing in the award-winning film Our Little Sister. Since then she has starred in a number of films and TV series, including the 2025 Netflix series Asura.

Kento and Suzu co-starred in Your Lie In April in 2016. Rumors of their romance began in 2022, after Kento was spotted visiting Suzu’s apartment and going with her to her family gatherings. Last year, the couple wore rings on their right ring fingers while they were out dining together with acquaintances, sparking engagement rumors.
According to a report by the Japanese magazine Josei Seven, the couple’s split comes after they spent long periods of time apart in 2024 for work. This reportedly led Suzu to re-evaluate her relationship with Kento and their future as a couple. After discussing the matter, Suzu and Kento reportedly agreed to an amicable breakup.
