37-year-old Taiwanese singer Jam Hsiao fell in love with soon-to-be 51-year-old Summer Lin at first sight. At the time, he was 20 and she was 34. Summer Lin was hesitant at first, but Jam Hsiao was certain that she was the one for him.
There was a time when we communicated completely via messages. We didn’t talk about love or anything of that sort, but I believe in love at first sight. She wanted me to get to know more people because she was worried that I was acting on impulse. But I was very sure about it.

After years of rumors, the long-time couple confirmed their relationship and married in 2023. Jam Hsiao proposed to Summer Lin the day before her 50th birthday.
I wished to confirm our relationship before she turned 50, so I chose to propose to her on [June] 26th, because her birthday is on the 27th.

Since then, they have been living a happy, simple life together.
Our life is extremely simple. When we are not working, we would go listen to jazz music, enjoy food, and exercise together. Age is never a problem.
