Legendary Singer Jay Chou Accused Of Cheating By Having Group Sex, His Wife Responds
Legendary singer Jay Chou was accused of cheating on his wife and having group sex in a Weibo post allegedly made by his wife, Hannah Quinlivan.
Jay Chou debuted as a singer in 2000. Although he’s mainly active in the Greater China Region, he’s sold out many concert tours worldwide and even claimed the #1 title for the world’s bestselling album in 2022.
His wife, Hannah Quinlivan, is also an entertainer, making her debut on television through a teen variety show in 2008 at the age of 14.
The pair got together when Hannah Quinlivan was only 17, but her young age and their 14-year age gap did not stop the relationship from thriving. The couple got married in 2015, and they’ve seemingly lived a happy married life since then.
They’ve also had little additions to their family, giving birth to their three children in 2015, 2017, and 2022, respectively.
However, things seemed to take a turn for the worse right at the beginning of 2024 when a post accusing Jay Chou of cheating surfaced.
A screenshot of a post seemingly made by Hannah Quinlivan reads,
#JayChouCheated #JayChouGroupSex
Mr. Chou, stop putting up a façade. Your perfect image will not hide who you really are for long. The world will not be kept in the dark and be deceived forever. The sun will eventually shine and chase away the dark clouds. I don’t want to live another day like this anymore, Mr. Chou! The disgusting things done by you and your disgusting friends, don’t you think the truth will come out one day?
– Allegedly by Hannah Quinlivan
The original poster of the screenshot stated, “Hannah Quinlivan deleted this Weibo post immediately. Ahhhhh, what happened?”
Given Jay Chou’s status as a legendary singer, the accusations spread like wildfire on various online communities. This prompted Hannah Quinlivan to issue an official statement on the matter on the same day.
“Regarding the content made by an imposter account of ‘HannahQuinlivan’ that trended on Weibo today, the post was completely made by an imposter account. They spread false information in various social media platforms and messenger apps, mentioning ‘Mr. Chou, stop putting up a façade. Your perfect image will not hide who you really are for long…’
The content of the post is false. It was made up and not posted by Hannah Quinlivan.
We would like to appeal to everyone to not believe in internet rumors so easily. Our company reserves the right to pursue legal action. Those with ill-intentions must stop posting and spreading rumors.”
Jay Chou has not yet responded to the matter personally; however, his company reposted Hannah Quinlivan’s official statement, seemingly taking the same position as his wife.
