Fistfight Between Female Fans Breaks Out At Top Star’s Concert
Concerts are meant to be fun, enjoyable experiences for both fans and performers. Unfortunately, emotions can sometimes run so high that they boil over and spoil the show.
Over the course of his nearly 20-year-old career, Chinese singer Joker Xue has become one of Mandopop’s top artists, boasting 57 million followers on Weibo alone. He is one of only five Chinese artists to have held over 100 concerts in a single tour. His latest tour, which has made him the first mainland China artist to hold an international stadium tour, kicked off on November 23.
On November 23, Joker Xue performed for thousands of concertgoers at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. According to media reports, the star was completely unaware that two female fans had started to fight, reportedly over who could get the best spot near the barricade.
While Joker Xue was singing a ballad and interacting with the crowd, these two fans were slapping, hitting, and pulling each other’s hair.
Some of the fans around them tried to intervene while others stayed out of the way or recorded the fight.
The video clip ends with a security staff member approaching the fans, presumably to break up the fight.
