A handsome Japanese model and actor is going viral among K-Pop fans after netizens debated which idols he resembled, but this rising star has the visuals, fanbase, and popularity to stand on his own.
Japanese model Gennosuke was born on August 9, 1998, in Okinawa, Japan. He made his acting debut in 2021, appearing as Yuki Yagami in the long-running Japanese medical drama, Doctor-X: Surgeon Michiko Daimon, and has since appeared in three other Japanese programs, two online dramas, a music video, and a commercial for the theme park Huis Ten Bosch.
Though he’s been active in the entertainment industry for a few years, he recently went viral for his activities on social media. He’s built a steady fanbase thanks to his handsome visuals and charming personality that he displays through his social media accounts, including TikTok.
According to his company, STARRAY PRODUCTION, his TikTok account alone gained over 100,000 followers in the month following its creation in June 2023.
