A popular mukbang streamer tragically passed away on camera while she was in the middle of a live broadcast.
According to local media sources, Chinese streamer Pan Xiaoting suddenly died on July 14 during a livestream. The cause of the death was determined to be overeating. Her autopsy results reportedly showed severe deformation of her abdomen and a stomach full of undigested food.
The 24-year-old streamer reportedly took up extreme eating challenges and ate a huge amount of food for ten hours every day without any breaks. She also challenged herself to consume more than 10 kgs of food during each meal. Some of her menu choices also ranged from unconventional to strange.
It is also known that Xiaoting was previously hospitalized due to gastric bleeding, which was also caused by overeating. But even then, she continued with her binge eating challenges the very next day after being discharged from the hospital.
