Post-Mortem Confirms Singer’s Brutal Murder, Police Release Disturbing New Details

She suffered significant injuries.

On February 23, a part-time singer and married mother of three was found deceased by her female housemate. After her body was discovered, police arrested the victim’s boyfriend on suspicion of murder.

On February 21, the victim’s housemate overheard an argument between the 52-year-old victim and the 54-year-old suspect, who had been renting a room together in a house located in Taman Seri Mangga, Malaysia. Two days after the argument, the housemate–who initially did not suspect anything out of the ordinary–decided to check in on the victim. When she opened the door to the victim’s room, she saw the deceased lying in a pool of blood.

Police have now released new details about the investigation. A post-mortem examination confirmed that the manner of death was homicide, and that the victim died from a total of 14 stab wounds. According to Central Melaka District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Christopher Patit, police received the report on February 24.

The post-mortem revealed that in addition to 14 stab wounds, the victim also suffered slash wounds and bruising.

The experts confirmed that the deceased sustained 14 stab wounds; three on the face, five on the chest, five on the left forearm and left hand, and one on the right calf.

There were also slash wounds on the deceased’s chest and left hand and bruises on the left side of the forehead during the external examination of the victim.
