Mystery Man Goes Viral For Being Hotter Than K-Pop Idols
An attractive man is attracting plenty of attention from netizens, who are all asking the same question; who is he?
The rehearsals for Singapore’s National Day Parade (NDP) always give the public a taste of what’s to come, such as live performances, but another attraction piqued people’s curiosity this year. The stand-in for President Tharman went viral for his visuals.
A TikTok video shared by @mysharrrr_2.0 that has racked up nearly 800,000 views praises the stand-in’s visuals — and so do over 600 comments. One netizen even compared the stand-in’s visuals to that of K-Pop idols, and over 1000 likes seemed to agree!
But just who is this guy? After he went viral, the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) posted a video that revealed the mystery man’s identity. The stand-in has been identified as Captain Lam Hong Xiang from RSAF’s 18 Divisional Air Defence, who has also worked as a data analyst for Google. In the reveal video, he explained that he was formally approved to be the “president roleplayer” after volunteering.
