Malaysian actress Bella Astillah and Singaporean actor Aliff Aziz wed in 2016. In 2019, the couple divorced because of Aziz’s alleged infidelity but reconciled and remained married for five more years. They divorced for the second time on June 13, 2024, following a scandal that involved actress Ruhainies.

People only know Aliff had cheated on me four or five times, but in actuality, it was 11 times. I have proof, and Aliff also knows it.

In March, Aziz was allegedly spotted alone with Ruhainies in her Pavilion Suites condominium. The pair were detained by Malaysia’s religious authorities under suspicion of khalwat. Muslims are not permitted to be in an isolated place with a member of the opposite sex who is not either their family member or their spouse.

Two months later, in an interview with Malaysian media, Ruhainies stated that she is no longer in contact with Aziz, her former co-star. She also refused to comment on rumors that she and Aziz were allegedly conspiring against his wife via an affair.

I’m no longer in contact with Aliff. I don’t want to worsen the issue. I want to close this (chapter). There’s no need for me to contact him anymore. My focus now is on my career. [. . .]

Whose opinion is that? Not mine. I can’t say much. If I deny those claims, people will still say I did it. That is out of my control. I don’t want to say anything else.

Though months have passed since the initial scandal, Ruhainies is still feeling the aftershocks. Recently, a fake wedding invitation began to circulate online.

According to the invitation, Aziz and Ruhainies would be married on June 29. Ruhainies has now responded to the invite, which misspelled her name, on Instagram.
