This isn’t the first time he has been censored.

Will Liu took to the Chinese social media platform Weibo to explain why his recent live broadcast–a workout session, in which he dressed up as DC Comics’ superhero Aquaman–was cut short. According to Liu, the broadcast had over 100,000 viewers when it ended.

Our fitness live stream which had more than 100K viewers was ‘forced to end’ suddenly. We were halfway through the workout when the screen suddenly turned black.

It turns out that his “provocative attire” that had “stockings” with “holes” was just too spicy for the platform. Liu expressed his frustration, saying that his channel has been streaming for more than four years and that it “has always promoted healthy, positive energy.” He couldn’t see how his costume was provocative and asked fans’ opinions.

Can someone tell me where the outfit was torn? I was fully covered, how is this considered provocative? Is this another repeat of the 2022 down jacket incident? What exactly is the standard for review?

Liu was referring to an incident involving his chest, which was deemed too muscular. To avoid having his livestream censored, he ended up wearing this jacket to cover his chest.
