Korean Police Suspect Bank Was Robbed By An Armed Foreigner
An armed robber used an unconventional mode of transportation to get away after stealing from a bank by fleeing the scene on a bike.
According to police, a masked armed robber made off with an unknown amount of money from Nonghyup Bank in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province.
The three employees in the bank claimed that the man threatened them with a rifle and ordered them to put the cash into a bag before fleeing the scene on a bicycle, which was confirmed by witnesses.
The robber is currently unidentified, but police have started a manhunt in the area and are using security footage to attempt to identify the man.
One of the investigators said that the man was reported to have spoken with strange pronunciation, suggesting that he might have been a foreigner.
