Meet The Latest “Produce 101 Season 2” Group To Debut That You Never Knew You Needed
The newest cross-company group made up of Produce 101 Season 2 trainees recently debuted, and they are giving us life.
YDPP — officially standing for Youth, Dream, Passion, Purity — has just released their first title track, “Love it, Live It”.
The group is made up of Youngmin and Donghyun from Brand New‘s MXM, Starship‘s solist Jeong Sewoon, and newly debuted Lee Gwanghyun.
While the combination may seem random to some, these 4 have been best buddies since they were in B Class together on Produce 101.

The four of them were also roommates together during B Class days too!

Sewoon and Youngmin are also from the same hometown of Busan, making them feel even closer together.
In fact, YDPP is name given to the four by fans from trainee days. YDPP stands for Youngmin, Donghyun, Ponyo and Pang.
Ponyo is a cartoon character that Sewoon looks like, and Pang written in Korean looks like Gwang.
Both fans and the members alike have been waiting for this iconic collaboration to happen for almost an entire year.
