Do TXT Members Have Any “Rituals” Before Stepping On Stage?
K-Pop idols step on stage often, whether it be for music shows, concerts, or festivals. But even as professionals, it can still be nerve-wracking to perform in front of hundreds to thousands of people, so preparations are a must!
In an interview with Spotify K-Pop ON! Track, BIGHIT MUSIC boy group TXT talked about their rituals before each performance.
Yeonjun and Taehyun shared their own preferences, and they gave completely different answers.
According to Yeonjun, he makes sure to do three actions to feel his best on stage: stretch, warm up his voice, and debloat. Stretching helps him dance better, warming up his voice prepares him to sing better, and debloating makes him look better!
Well, firstly, I stretch, warm up my voice, and debloat. What else is there?

In contrast, Taehyun makes it a point to eat food beforehand, especially when they have concerts! “I have to eat right before. It’s a must before a concert,” he stated. The food gives him energy to perform for a long time.
This isn’t the first time TXT talked about their pre-show rituals. In a past interview with Seventeen, Hueningkai revealed that he stretches for a whopping 30 minutes, while Beomgyu and Soobin said they make sure to tie their shoelaces. Ultimately, they want to avoid any accidents from happening.
