Upcoming film “Gangnam 1970” moves its release date to January
Upcoming film Gangnam 1970 featuring Kim Raewon and Lee Minho is confirmed to have moved their premiere date to January 2015.
In a statement released by the production team on October 24th, it was confirmed that they have decided to move the release date from November of this year to January, to cater to the increasing audience for that month, which is normally the peak season for films.
The press review for Gangnam 1970 originally scheduled for October 28th was also moved to a later date.
The film, a product of famed director Yoo Ha, is about two men, played by Kim Raewon and Lee Minho, trying to overcome the socio-political hardships, along with political corruption, in Gangnam back in the 1970s.
Promotional posters for the film promoting its November release were released last week, creating anticipating for their local and international followers.
