10 K-Pop Idols Who Had The Busiest Individual Schedules In 2022
2022 has been an incredibly busy year in K-Pop; with the return of world tours, iconic reunions, collaboration stages, and the return in-person events, there has been no shortage of schedules for K-Pop idols who promoted in 2022.
Recently, Blip, a “go-to” app for K-Pop schedules and updates, compiled the ten individual K-Pop idols with the busiest schedules in 2022.
Here are the 10 K-Pop idols with the most schedules in 2022.
10. Miyeon ((G)I-DLE)
Outside of (G)I-DLE‘s busy promotions, Miyeon kept her schedule booked in 2022 as a radio show host and a host of M Countdown! with actor and model Kim Nam Su. She also gained endorsement deals and had promotions for her solo debut.
Miyeon had 227 individual schedules in 2022.
9. Solar (MAMAMOO)
MAMAMOO‘s Solar released her first solo mini-album in 2022 and began her musical career as Mata Hari in the musical of the same name.
In 2022, she also acted as a television host, a special radio MC, formed a subunit with Moonbyul, and participated in MAMAMOO’s comeback mini-album and Japanese-language compilation album.
Solar had 242 reported individual schedules in 2022.
8. Kyuhyun (Super Junior)
Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun recorded songs for two different k-drama OSTs and acted as a special guest, host, or MC of nine different variety shows, including Single’s Inferno.
He participated in Super Junior’s comeback, world tour, and his own individual activities.
Kyuhyun had 256 reported individual schedules this year.
7. Moonbyul (MAMAMOO)
MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul held her second solo concert, Director’s Cut: 6equence, released a solo mini-album, competed on and won the singing competition show The Second World, held her first solo concert overseas and is gearing up for another special single-album to be released at the end of this month.
Moonbyul also promoted with MAMAMOO during their comeback and joined Solar for their sub-unit promotions.
Moonbyul had 276 individual schedules reported for 2022.
6. Kikwang (Highlight)
Kikwang joined Highlight for their album release in March and their comeback in November, releasing their fourth mini-album, After Sunset.
Highlight held their first concert as a full group in three years, with three nights at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium.
Along with group activities, Kikwang hosts his own radio show and was a special MC for KCON 2022 Premiere.
Kikwang had 310 individual schedules in 2022.
5. Kun (WayV)
WayV‘s Kun joined Korean radio station tbs eFM‘s Chinese program Akdong Seoul in 2020 and has remained on the program as a regular guest and now DJ since then.
Kun produced the song “Rain Day,” which was released by NCT U as an SM Station song in July, and appeared with WayV at the SMTOWN LIVE 2022 shows in Korea and Japan.
Kun had 326 individual schedules in 2022.
4. Shinwon (PENTAGON)
PENTAGON’s Shinwon appeared in the web drama Unicorn this year and hosts EBS Radio’s PENTAGON’s Night Radio.
As a group, PENTAGON released their 12th mini-album, In:vite U, and held their live-streamed in-person PENTAGON’s Private Party fan meeting in April. The group released a new Japanese mini-album in September and performed at several music festivals.
Shinwon has had 358 individual schedules this year.
3. Wendy (Red Velvet)
Red Velvet has had two comebacks this year, festival appearances and year-end award ceremony appearances. They’ve also performed at the 2022 SMTOWN LIVE shows and recorded a collaboration single, “Beautiful Christmas,” with SM Entertainment labelmates aespa.
Outside of group promotions, Wendy stays busy as a popular radio show host of the show Youngstreet.
Wendy has had 370 reported individual schedules in 2022.
2. Youngjae (GOT7)
GOT7 reunited this year and made a much-anticipated return as an independent group for the first time.
The seven members made time in their busy schedules to not only make a group comeback but also to hold a two-night GOT7 Homecoming 2022 Fancon event in May.
Youngjae released his second mini-album, Sugar, this year and held a mini-concert tour for the project. In October, he was revealed to be part of a collaboration project with Esquire Korea and the fashion brand Covernat. He also released two K-drama OSTs, appeared as a host on a YouTube series and a mentor on a Thai audition show, and is the radio show host of GOT7 Youngjae’s Best Friend.
Youngjae had 441 individual schedules in 2022.
1. Minhyuk (BTOB)
BTOB‘s Minhyuk (also known as Huta) made his solo comeback in June and held a sold-out solo concert in July. He appeared in the film Urban Myths and is currently the host of Kiss The Radio.
BTOB reunited in 2022 as a full six-member group for the first time in three years. As a full group, they released their third album, Be Together, and they recently announced a 10th-anniversary concert of the same name to be held on December 30, 31, and January 1, 2023.
Minhyuk had 500 individual schedules in 2022.
