10 K-Pop Idols Making 90s Hair Accessories Fashionable Again
The revival of 90s fashion has been in full-swing for the last year or so, and now the trend is making its way into hairstyles too. As expected, some of the most stylish stars in K-Pop are at the forefront of 90s hair accessories comeback. Take a look at 10 idols making these retro hair accessories “newtro”.
1. Jennie (BLACKPINK)
Oversized hair accessories were all the rage during the 90s, and claw clips were no exception. Wearing hers with a stylish slip, BLACKPINK’s Jennie proved these big clips are no longer gaudy.
2. Jisoo (BLACKPINK)
Alongside oversized hair clips, the 90s gave birth to the oversized headband trend too. These thick, puffy headbands were all the rage, and idols like BLACKPINK’s Jisoo are bringing them back.
3. Joy (Red Velvet)
Scrunchies were invented in the late 1980s, but they really took off during the 1990s. Red Velvet’s Joy went full-90s with a matching sweater and scrunchie in this photo.
