While there have been plenty of moments in K-Pop when fans finally got answers to mysteries, there are also plenty of mysterious moments that are still unanswered. Here’s a list of some of the biggest mysteries in the history of K-Pop.

1. What Girls’ Generation’s Hyoyeon said to Seohyun

During the 2011 SBS Gayo Daejeon, there was a moment when Seohyun and Hyoyeon were having a conversation.

During the conversation, Seohyun had a shocked expression after Hyoyeon said something. Fans were curious as to what caused Seohyun to get so shocked, but an answer was never given.

2. The group LUCENTE

LUCENTE debuted in 2018 under NOGA Entertainment. The group was quite popular when they debuted, as they even won a “Rookie of The Year” award.

However, the group seemingly disappeared after their debut. LUCENTE haven’t released any music since their debut mini-album, The Big Dipper. 

Fans of LUCENTE believe that NOGA Entertainment has practically abandoned the group. These speculations came after LUCENTE’s European tour got canceled, and how the group was not given a comeback. Fans are now wondering why the company treated the group so poorly when they had a relatively successful debut.

3. Woojin’s departure from Stray Kids

When it was announced that Woojin would be leaving Stray Kids, it shocked many as the news came out of nowhere. Fans ended up getting suspicious when a proper reason wasn’t given.

Woojin has left Stray Kids due to personal circumstances and has terminated his contract. Up until now, he was a Stray Kids member.

Some started to speculate that Woojin was kicked out of the group due to how sudden everything was. Fans also got suspicious after member Bang Chan made a comment that may have hinted at Woojin’s departure.

Some felt that Bang Chan was referring to Woojin, and how Woojin’s “mistake” led him to get kicked out of the group, but nothing was ever confirmed.

4. “What’s tasty in Busan?”

BTS‘s J-Hope once asked fans, “what’s tasty in Busan?” at a fansign. After J-Hope asked this question, Jungkook whispered something to J-Hope and Jimin that caused both of them to burst with laughter.

To this day, fans still don’t know what Jungkook said.
