The “2022 MAMA Awards” reminded K-Pop fans everywhere that K-Pop performances and stages are out of this world. Whether or not your favorite group performed your favorite track, K-Pop fans can unanimously agree that the “2022 MAMA Awards” stunned fans! Here are four stages from the “2022 MAMA Awards” that blew the audience away with the creativity and talent displayed!

 1. TXT

TXT‘s “2022 MAMA Awards” performance included their songs “Thursday’s Child”, “Lonely Boy”, and “Good Boy Gone Bad”. Their stage design was heavily influenced by the 1996 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet and fans on social media noticed the comparison of some scenes from the movie to their stage design!

2. 4th Generation “Cheer Up” Collaboration Stage

During the “2022 MAMA Awards”, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, NMIXX, Kep1er, and IVE all banded together to perform a cover of TWICE’s classic song “Cheer Up”. Fans loved the Gen-Z twist on the song by the rookie groups. This performance was definitely a fan-favorite of the night!

3. KARA Reunion

Longtime fans of K-Pop were overjoyed by the KARA reunion during the “2022 MAMA Awards”! KARA shocked the audience by performing their songs “Lupin”, “Step”, and “Mister”.

4. Somi’s “Talk That Talk” Cover

TWICE and Somi are known to be close to one another, so when TWICE couldn’t attend the “2022 MAMA Awards” in Japan, Somi took the reigns and covered “Talk That Talk”! Somi wowed the audience with her solo performance of the group’s track.
