Here are 4 moments in K-Pop that had netizens and fans confused AF.
1. Addiction Entertainment’s statement about Yellow Bee’s disbandment
In 2020, Addiction Entertainment announced that Yellow Bee was going to disband, but many netizens were left confused when they stated the reason why. Addiction Entertainment stated that Yellow Bee was disbanding due to a member having a “rather slutty lifestyle“.
But with member B carrying on her rather slutty lifestyle, plus the other members being unable to come to an agreement, we’ve decided that the group cannot stay together.

Not long after Addiction Entertainment made this statement, former Yellow Bee member Ari made a post on her Instagram, refuting the claims made by the company. Ari stated that it was actually the employees at the company who were sexually harassing the members.
It wasn’t the member who was promiscuous, but rather the agency.
There were acts of sexual assault by an employee and manager of the agency.
And that employee even dragged a member away to a practice room and tried to engage in sexual relations, and on top of that, everybody was there when it happened, but it was only the members who tried to stop her from getting dragged away.
They also told us to call them ‘oppa’ and touched our thighs, and a former manager even said, ‘Let’s go to a motel so I can give you a baby’ and ‘But it’s up to you to find the father.’

When Jessica Jung left Girls’ Generation, it was a shock to many as the news came out of nowhere. Also, a lot of people were left confused due to the statements made by Jessica Jung and SM Entertainment. Jessica Jung stated that she was forced to choose between her new fashion line, which was already in progress, and her activities as a member of Girls’ Generation by SM Entertainment and her fellow members. She also stated that she was “forced out” of the group.
I was excited about our upcoming fan events only to shockingly be informed by my company and 8 others that as of today, I’m no longer a member. I’m devastated – my priority and love is to serve as a member of GG, but for no justifiable reason, I am being forced out..”

However, SM Entertainment stated that negotiations regarding Jessica Jung’s fashion line and her activities with Girls’ Generation were still in progress and that she decided to start her business anyway. Due to this, it made it difficult for the group to continue with Jessica Jung as a member.
