4 Rising Trainees From YG Entertainment You Should Know About
1. Bang Yedam
Bang Yedam was born on May 7, 2002.
He first caught the public eye in 2013, when he competed on SBS’s K-pop Star Season 2.
At the time, he was just 12 years old but thanks to his incredible vocal talent, he won second place.
Last year, Bang YeDam again blew viewers away when he performed Shawn Mendes’s song, “There’s Nothing Holding Me Back” on the survival show Stray Kids.
He currently attends Seoul’s School of Performing Arts, a popular choice for many young idols. The school’s celebrity graduates include Jungkook (BTS) and Sehun (EXO).
After five years of training, Bang YeDam may finally be debuting as part of a new boy group later this year.
2. Moon Sua
This talented rapper was born on September 9, 1999.
In 2012, she appeared in G-Dragon‘s and T.O.P‘s (BIGBANG) “Knock Out”…
…then showed the world her rap style in 2015, when she competed on Unpretty Rapstar 2.
Moon Sua placed fourth in the competition, but won a devoted fanbase along the way.
Her older brother, Moonbin (ASTRO) made his debut in 2016, so fans are hoping Moon Sua’s debut won’t be too far behind.
Way back in 2012, she was part of the group of trainees formerly known as Future 2NE1…
…but, unfortunately, there has been no recent news about this line-up, or about Moon Sua’s current plans. Even so, fans haven’t given up hope.

At 18 years old, this skilled trainee is already raking in six figures a year, thanks to his impressive composition abilities.

Choi Raesung produced the song “Bling Bling” with iKON’s leader, B.I, and worked on “Love Scenario” as well.
He has also produced tracks for other groups, including MIXNINE’s final mission track “COME OVER”.
Over the last six years, Choi Raesung and B.I have become close friends, having lived and practiced together. B.I. has called Choi Raesung a musical “genius” and believes that his popularity will continue to grow.
Like Bang YeDam, Choi Raesung is a former K-Pop Star contestant. He was eliminated after Round 3, but his talents did not go unnoticed.
He joined YG Entertainment shortly after his elimination and may be making his debut this year.
