1. Gong Myung
Gong Myung was born Kim Dong-Hyun in 1994. In 2013, he debuted in Korea’s first-ever actor group, 5urprise, and acted in his first movie, If You Were Me 6, that same year. Since then, he has been in six more movies and eight K-Dramas.
Fans might remember him as Bi Ryum from The Bride of Haebak, Kang Jun Ho from Feel Good to Die, and Chu Jae Hoon from Be Melodramatic. Gong Myung isn’t the only famous member of his family though; his younger brother is Doyoung from NCT!
2. Kim Dong-Hee
Kim Dong Hee is a ’99 liner who is best known for his roles in Sky Castle, Itaewon Class, and Extracurricular. In 2018, he made his acting debut as Ha Min in the web drama A-TEEN, and also played Ha Min in the show’s second season. In 2019, he won the “Rising Star” award at the Brand of the Year Awards.
3. Song Kang
This handsome and talented young actor is a ’94 liner who made his K-Drama debut as Baek Jin Woo in The Liar and His Lover (2017). Since then he has appeared in one film, Beautiful Vampire, and five more K-Dramas, including When the Devil Calls Your Name and Love Alarm.
Next year, fans will see him starring in the Netflix adaptation of the webtoon, Sweet Home.
4. Kim Min Jae (Real.be)
Actor Kim Min Jae is also a rapper (Real.be) who competed on Season 4 of Show Me the Money. In just seven years, he has been in fifteen K-Dramas, and is best known for his roles in Second 20s, Dr. Romantic, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, and Tempted. Most recently, he starred as Park Joon Young in Do You Like Brahms?
5. Ahn Hyo Seop
Ahn Hyo Seop is a 25-year-old actor and singer, who lived in Canada between the ages of seven and seventeen. When he moved back to Korea, he became a trainee at JYP Entertainment and was given the chance to debut in GOT7. Instead, he joined Starhaus Entertainment‘s project group One O One and began acting.
Ahn Hyo Seop rose to popularity after scoring his first lead role in Queen of the Ring and My Father is Strange in 2017. Since then, he has appeared in Still 17, Top Management, Abyss, and Dr. Romantic 2.
