There aren’t many K-Pop stars with European origins, but these 7 all lived in countries across Europe for several months (or even years) when they were younger.
1. YangYang (WayV)
When WayV’s YangYang was 11 years old, he moved to Germany with his mom and his sister. He stayed there for 6 years, so he has great German skills. Before becoming an idol, he wanted to be a racer because of Michael Schumacher, the famous German racer.
2. Hyungwon (MONSTA X)
MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and his family once lived in Germany for 3 months. While they were there, they stayed in Wiesbaden, known for is beautiful architecture and hot springs.
3. Dawon (SF9)
SF9’s Dawon once revealed he lived and studied in Spain for four months before becoming an idol.
4. Dohyon (X1)
Former X1 maknae Dohyon used to study abroad in Denmark. He also studied in Japan.
5. Tablo (Epik High)
Epik High’s Tablo lived all over the world when he was younger, including in Switzerland. He’s also lived in Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Canada.

When ONF’s Wyatt was younger, he lived in Kazakhstan for a while. Many people don’t know that around 10% of Kazakhstan’s land is technically located in Europe.
