9 New K-Pop Boy Groups Expected To Debut In 2021
We are a few weeks into 2021 so you know what that means! It’s time to think about all of the possible girl groups and boy groups that will be coming out this year! Here are just 9 of the probably many boy groups to bless this year.
1. KINGDOM
KINGDOM is an upcoming 7-member boy group with perhaps the most unique concept of the year, knights! They are currently under GF Entertainment. The boys are set to debut on February 18 with members Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Dann, Ivan, Jahan, and Chiwoo.
2. MAXIMUM
MAXIMUM is a 4 member boy group set to debut soon. They consist of Wanshin, Seungkwon, Minho, and Seonghwan.
3. NTX
NTX is a large group of 10 boys from Victory Company. Due to COVID-19, their January debut has been postponed to mid-March, though they released a few pre-debut singles in 2020. The boys consist of Hyeongjin, Yunhyeok, Jaemin, Changhun, Hojun, Eunho, Jiseong, Seongwon, Gihyun, and Rohyun.
4. JN Entertainment Boy Group
This 7-member unnamed group is said to be debuting this year from JN Entertainment. The boys include Bleu, Moonbong, Iroon, Hyeongjin, Vin, Geonhee, and Woori.
5. TEN X
Ten X is currently a 4-member group as member Minsung (second from the right) left in 2020. The Blue Creative Entertainment group now consists of Luha, Gohyeon, UK, and Siwoo. They are said to be debuting sometime this year.
6. LUMINOUS
LUMINOUS was said to debut in 2020 but has not, therefore, fans are hoping that they just got pushed back to 2021. They are currently under WIP Company but are formerly from DS Entertainment. The boys are Suil, Steven, Woobin, and Youngbin.
7. CIIPHER
CIIPHER is an upcoming 7-member group formed under RAIN Company. They are Hyunbin, Tan, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan, and Won and are debuting in early 2021.
8. Big Hit Japan Boy Group
Big Hit Entertainment (of BTS and TXT fame) is branching out to Japan this year! The group currently consists of K, Nicholas, EJ, Kyungmin, and Taki, though they are holding auditions to recruit new members. They should be debuting sometime later this year.
9. DSP N
Formerly DSP Sprouts and DSP Warriors, DSP N is a group from DSP Media, the same company as KARD and APRIL. The group consists of Dongpyo, Shouu, Hojin, Junhyuk, Siyoung, Jaewon, Sungbu, Sangmin, and Wooyoung. However, on their social media, they have recently been posting pictures in groups of 4 or 6, so it is unclear what the final debut lineup will be. They were set to debut in 2020 but fans believe it was pushed back to 2021.
