Although it has only been 24 hours since “Kill This Love” dropped, BLACKPINK have already smashed a number of records and clearly look like their on their way to smash some more! Here are all the records BLACKPINK has broken with “Kill This Love” so far!
1. Even before their “Kill This Love” EP dropped, they took the #1 spot on China’s QQ Music with 24,265 copies sold in digital presales.
2. When their “Kill This Love” MV dropped it broke the record of fastest video in history to surpass 1 million likes on YouTube.
They reached the major achievement in 30 minutes! The previous record was held by Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” at 33 minutes.
3. “Kill This Love” also broke the record for the fastest music video in history to surpass 2 million likes on YouTube.
BLACKPINK reached 2 million likes in only 1 hour and 49 minutes!
4. “Kill This Love” debuted at no. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes chart and entered the top 10 on US iTunes at no. 6.
