3 Reasons Why BLACKPINK’s Rosé Would Want To Join THE BLACK LABEL, According To Fans
BLACKPINK‘s Rosé is speculated to be joining THE BLACK LABEL.
A subsidiary of YG Entertainment, it was formed by Teddy in 2016. It currently houses artists such as Somi and Zion.T and could potentially become the home of Rosé as well.
This news came as a surprise to fans, with many finding it confusing and upsetting.

Others, however, pointed out that there were several reasons why this move makes perfect sense to the BLACKPINK singer.
1. Teddy
First up, BLINKs agree that Teddy’s presence in THE BLACK LABEL is likely the main reason why Rosé would want to join his company.
Teddy has been BLACKPINK’s main producer since the beginning, working with the four members in recording each of their hits.
Rosé’s own solo songs, “On The Ground,” “Gone,” and “Hard to Love” were produced by Teddy. They are a “compatible” pairing when it comes to music production.
She may have wanted to work with someone whom she trusts, someone who understands her songwriting process best.
2. Freedom
Rosé is the only member from BLACKPINK who has not started her own agency, and this may be the freedom she craves.
Though many fans wanted her to become independent in this regard as well, others recognized that it is “ridiculously hard” to launch one’s own business. It was possible that she did not “want the hassle” that comes with being a CEO and musician at the same time.
3. Time
Finally, the very fact that artists under THE BLACK LABEL do not release music often could be a draw to Rosé, some fans believe. She may be like Somi who was speculated to have left JYP Entertainment to have more down time with her family, now only releasing a single every year or so.
Rosé, too, could just want to “relax.”
At the end of the day, fans trust Rosé and just want what is best for her.
I dont know enough about the blacklabel but i know Rosé would not sign with them if she doesn’t think she will get the creative freedom and get a better contract than signing directly with yg. Im glad hér music gets a home if this is true. looking forward to what's coming next! https://t.co/bpfSXAmr49
