From BTS’s Jin To Song Kang: These 10+ Famous Celebrities All Studied In The Same University
There’s one school in South Korea that’s famous not only for their buildings and quality of education, but their students as well! Konkuk University, a private university in Seoul, has taught celebrities who are known all over the world.

1. BTS’s Jin
First up, BTS’s Jin may now be performing on the biggest stages around the world…
…but he once attended college just like the rest of us. He studied film and art at Konkuk University, graduating in February 2017.
2. TWICE’s Nayeon
TWICE’s Nayeon is another A-list singer who was accepted into the prestigious school. A year before her debut in 2015, she pursued higher education in the Department of Film.
3. SHINee’s Minho
SHINee’s Minho has been active in the entertainment industry since he debuted in 2008. He was admitted into Konkuk University in 2010, his major being arts and film. Despite his hectic schedules, he was able to graduate in 2015.
He even received a special award for his contributions in promoting the university.
4. HyunA
HyunA, a former 4Minute member and currently a soloist, received special admission to Konkuk University as an entertainer. She majored in Contemporary Arts.
5. Girl’s Day’s Hyeri
Singer and actress Hyeri studied film in college. Since she made her debut with Girl’s Day in 2012, she was already a celebrity when she started college a year later. She was even photographed during the school’s entrance ceremony in 2013.
6. Go Kyung Pyo
Go Kyung Pyo was Hyeri’s co-star in tvN‘s hit K-Drama Reply 1988. They aren’t just close friends, they also share the same alma mater and major!
7. Ryu Hye Young
To complete the trio of Reply 1988 cast members and fellow Konkuk University graduates, Ryu Hye Young also studied in the Department of Film.
8. Yoo Ah In
Yoo Ah In is famous for starring in the films Punch, #Alive, Veteran, and more. Though he originally trained to be a K-Pop idol, he eventually pursued acting and graduated from Konkuk University’s Department of Arts.
9. Lee Min Ho
Lee Min Ho rose to fame in the 2009 K-Drama Boys Over Flowers. He’s also known for his roles in The Heirs, Legend of the Blue Sea, and The King: Eternal Monarch.
Like many others on this list, he was a film student who graduated with a degree in Film & Arts.
10. Lee Jong Suk
Lee Jong Suk is another decorated actor who made his mark in shows like I Can Hear Your Voice, Pinocchio, W, and more. He majored in Professional Motion Pictures and Art, graduating in 2016.
11. Song Kang
Last but certainly not the least, Song Kang is a rising star in the acting world and a student of the Department of Film Arts. He starred in Netflix‘s Sweet Home, tVN‘s Navillera, and the hit JTBC show Nevertheless.
