10 Of BTS Jungkook’s Favorite Netflix Series And Movies
Like many of us, BTS‘s members love to curl up on the couch and watch Netflix. Here are 10 series and films that Jungkook has watched and/or recommended.
1. Our Beloved Summer
While in Las Vegas, Jungkook held a Q&A on Instagram. He asked ARMY for recommendations and checked off the series he had already seen. One of them was this popular K-Drama.

Our Beloved Summer is a 2021-2022 coming-of-age story about an ex-couple who reluctantly cross paths again after the documentary they shot in high school goes viral. BTS’s V sang “Christmas Tree,” a track on the Our Beloved Summer soundtrack.
2. Twenty Five Twenty One
On Instagram, Jungkook shared a clip of himself watching a scene from Twenty Five Twenty One, a 2022 K-Drama.

Twenty Five Twenty One is a melodrama that follows an ambitious 18-year-old fencer and a 22-year-old man in need of a second chance. At ages 25 and 21, they fall in love.
3. Bridgerton
It’s official; Bridgerton fever has reached South Korea! Jungkook’s Q&A took place not long after Season 2 of the show aired.

Bridgerton is a period drama based on a series of romance novels and set in Regency era England. Season 1 and Season 2 both follow members of the wealthy Bridgerton family as they navigate love and high society. If you love spicy romance, Season 1 is for you, but if Jane Austen romance is more your flavor, then you might prefer Season 2.
4. Paik’s Spirit
While in quarantine for COVID-19, Jungkook shared an Instagram story captioned, “drinking alone.” The video clip in it was from Netflix‘s Paik’s Spirit, a show featuring celebrity guests, delicious food, and drinks.
Hosted by Chef Baek Jong Won, who once guested on Run BTS!, this show is the equivalent of comfort food. It’s the perfect show to watch while relaxing at home.
5. Alice in Borderland
Jungkook’s Netflix watch list includes hits from around the world, including this one from Japan.

Alice in Borderland is perfect for fans of Squid Game and thrilling, sci-fi mysteries. This 2020 J-Drama follows a colorful cast of characters in abandoned Tokyo who must survive a tournament of dangerous games…and each other.
6. Love and Leashes
Now here is a recommendation you may or may not have expected!

Love and Leashes is a 2022 romantic comedy film based on a webtoon called Moral Sense. It follows an unlikely partnership between two office workers. A mild-mannered man, who is secretly into BDSM, asks his coworker to be his master and hilarity ensues.
7. Business Proposal
When a fan on Instagram recommended this K-Drama, Jungkook told them that he had already seen it. The series follows a woman who ends up taking her friend’s place on a blind date. That blind date happens to be the CEO of her company. Cue laughter, drama, and plenty of romance!
8. The Uncanny Encounter
If there’s one thing we can learn about Jungkook from his Netflix history, it’s that he likes a little bit of everything.

9. Money Heist
Jungkook has already seen this megahit series once, but he would like to watch it again!

Money Heist is a Spanish heist drama that was originally meant to be a limited series. It now has three seasons with a South Korean adaptation in the works. Money Heist follows the Professor and his team as they prepare to pull off the heists of the century.
10. Don’t Look Up
On Instagram, Jungkook confirmed that he has seen this 2021 apocalyptic black comedy. It follows two astronomers as they try to warn the world about an approaching comet that will destroy our planet.
