BTS Reveal The Locations Around The World Most Special To Them
In a recent collaboration with Google, BTS X Street Galleries, the members of BTS each shared a location and artworks that have significant value to them. These locations from around the world give special insight into each of the members’ inner thoughts.
Here are the group’s favorite locations:
1. RM – Seoul Namdaemun
This location holds special meaning to RM because it is where BTS kicked off their world tour in 2021. In addition to this significant meaning, it is also a historic monument.
2. Jin – Allianz Parque, Saõ Paulo, Brazil
Jin‘s chosen location is one that is familiar to BTS fans in Brazil! The Allianz Parque is where BTS performed during their 2019 BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour.
Jin says this location is one of BTS’s favorites and that they love the positive energy. Whenever he’s “feeling a little low,” he “just thinks of Saõ Paulo!
3. Suga – Dolby Theater, Los Angeles.
This location was where BTS performed on America’s Got Talent in 2018. According to Suga, “it’s where our dream of international recognition began.”
4. J-Hope – United Nations, New York
BTS have been invited to speak at the UN General Assembly several times over the past few years, something that has shown J-Hope the younger generation’s hopefulness and strength.
5. V – Tower Bridge, London
London’s moody and picturesque streets are something that V loves taking photos of, the reason behind his selection. This location has helped inspire V’s own personal photography not only of the city but of the natural world as well.
6. Jimin – Marina Bay Sands, Singapore
Jimin’s chosen location reminds him of the Love Yourself concert they held in Singapore. This ties into his artwork selections for the location, with Jimin saying that he has “been on a journey of self-love and acceptance in the past few years.”
7. Jungkook – Chunggu Building, Seoul
The Chunggu Building was the home of BIGHIT Entertainment (now HYBE) when BTS debuted. This location is significant to Jungkook because it served as a second home since the group’s debut in 2013.
