Runway King: 6 Times BTS’s V Wore Fashion Better Than The Models Could
From his striking looks to his statuesque proportions, BTS‘s V was born to be a model. Here are just 6 of the many times he wore designer outfits even better than the runway models did!
1. Beautiful in brown
This Berluti outfit is part of the brand’s 2020 Spring/Summer Menswear Collection. It features a brown leather jacket engraved with cursive handwriting, a pinstripe suit, and a pop of color from a collared shirt.
V turned the red carpet into his own personal runway when he wore this outfit to SBS‘s Gayo Daejeon in 2019.
2. Rockstar flair
This model is wearing an outfit from CELINE‘s Spring/Summer 2020 Menswear Collection by Heidi Slimane. The collection combines casual dress with bold business attire and rockstar flair.
Although the model wears it well, there’s no denying that this look was practically made for V. He wore it on the red carpet at the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
3. Sweater weather
For their 2019 Fall/Winter collection, PRADA brought vampire aesthetics to the runway. This model wears a striking, red cardigan over head-to-toe black.
V turned heads when he wore this outfit over a crisp, white button-up at the 2019 Melon Music Awards (MMA).
4. A blast from the past
If you’re thinking this unusual combination of orange print and solid purple can’t possible look good on anyone, you’re (mostly) right. V achieved the near-impossible when he pulled off this look from GUCCI‘s 2021 Spring/Summer collection…
…for BTS’s 2021 Season’s Greetings package. V transformed into a ’70s heartthrob by ditching the suit jacket and tie and adding his own personal flair.
5. Dashing for DICON
Givenchy‘s daring look from the 2020 Fall/Winter Menswear Collection isn’t for shy fashionistas…
…but it was perfect for V! He wasn’t afraid to stand out during BTS’s photoshoot for DICON magazine.
6. Gorgeous in green
BTS’s “Dynamite” music video made this emerald green suit from GUCCI’s Pre-Fall Menswear Collection famous.
It’s easy to see why V made headlines when he danced in his suit!
