Here’s What TWICE’s Chaeyoung Would Look Like In 6 Different Anime Styles
The TWICE fandom is full of talented artists who have portrayed the TWICE members in a number of creative ways. Twitter artist oiamisa reimagined Chaeyoung in not just one, but six distinct anime styles. The results are so believable that Chaeyoung could easily slip right into the shows’ casts!
1. One Piece
Chaeyoung is ready to sail on the high seas with One Piece‘s motley pirate crew! The artist captured her orange hairstyle and bright smile perfectly.
One Piece follows the adventures of a boy with a stretchy, rubber-like body who sails with his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, in search of the world’s ultimate treasure: the “One Piece”. With this treasure, he will become the next Pirate King!
2. Crayon Shin-chan
A pretty idol has just moved into the neighbourhood and her name is Chaeyoung!
Crayon Shin-chan follows the adventures of five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his parents, baby sister, dog, neighbours, and friends in Kasukabe, Japan.
3. Gintama
This anime style brings out Chaeyoung’s big, beautiful eyes and overall cuteness. Don’t be deceived by her appearance though; she is ready to pick up her sword and slay aliens at a moment’s notice!
Gintama is set in Edo, which has been conquered by aliens named Amanto. The story follows samurai Gintoki Sakata, who works as a freelancer alongside his friends in order to pay the monthly rent.
4. Dragon Ball Z
After saving Japan from aliens in Gintama, Chaeyoung is ready to join the warriors of Dragon Ball Z!
This classic action anime follows the adventures of Goku who must defend the Earth against a whole host of powerful enemies!
5. Case Closed (Detective Conan)
In this anime, Chaeyoung becomes part of a group of plucky, crime-solving school detectives!
This anime is about high school detective Shinichi Kudo who gets transformed into a child after ingesting an experimental poison. Under the pseudonym Conan Edogawa, he solves cases with fellow members of his Junior Detective club.
6. K-On!
This is perhaps the most fitting anime for Chaeyoung, since K-On! is all about music!
In this anime, four high school girls join the light music club of the all-girls private Sakuragaoka High School to try to save it from being disbanded. Together they practice their music skills, perform, and hang out together…just like TWICE does!
