ITZY always stuns with their fashion choices, but some outfits have received mixed reactions. Not all of the style team’s decisions have been universally loved.

1. Same outfits, different occasions

At 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon, Ryujin‘s outfit attracted attention for being a repeat.

ITZY’s stylists had dressed her in the same outfit previously worn by her senior and labelmate, TWICE‘s Momo.

At 2019 K-World Festa, ITZY also wore the same white-and-blue outfits they had worn for various music show performances.

2. 2019 Gaon Chart Music Awards

Some netizens voiced disappointment over ITZY’s outfits at the 2019 Gaon Chart Music Awards. The members lit up the red carpet in bold neon attire, which stood out among the other idol groups in attendance.

At the time, some netizens found the outfits tacky and unflattering when compared to the group’s other looks.

3. Dangerous shoes

During ITZY’s “Not Shy” promotions, fans criticized the stylists for putting Ryujin in oversized shoes, which put her at risk of tripping. Ryujin’s shoes have received criticism since the group’s “Wannabe” era. During a performance on M Countdown, Ryujin’s feet could be seen sliding in her boots as she danced.

4. Knowing Bros uniforms

Though these matching plaid skirts and blazers were eye-catching, the styling also drew criticism because of a few particular details.

Some fans thought Ryujin’s vest and the oversized jackets worn by Yeji and Chaeryeong were unflattering. Wrinkles in the members’ skirts were also criticized.
