6 K-Pop Groups That Disbanded In The First Half Of 2024
Numerous new K-Pop groups debut each year, introducing fans to a new set of up-and-coming idols. Unfortunately, many groups also end up disbanding, and the first half of 2024 has already seen this happen.
Here are six groups that disbanded in the first half of 2024.
1. NATURE
Girl group NATURE debuted in 2018 under n.CH Entertainment.
Originally an eight-membered group, NATURE went through line-up changes through the years. After months of speculation and fan questions, the group officially disbanded in April 2024.
2. Weki Meki
Weki Meki debuted in 2017 under Fantagio.
After an extended hiatus that left fans questioning the group’s status, it was announced that their final release, “CoinciDestiny,” would be dropped on June 12.
3. Cherry Bullet
Cherry Bullet debuted in 2019 under FNC Entertainment.
Originally made up of ten members, Cherry Bullet’s line-up first dropped to seven members in 2019. The group’s final release was in March 2023, with the group disbanding in April 2024 following the contract terminations of four members.
4. XEED
Boy group XEED debuted in 2022 under Nature Space Entertainment, attracting attention with line-up of older idols.
The group went through a line-up change in 2023, before their disbandment was suddenly announced in April 2024.
5. TFN
TFN, originally known as T1419, debuted in 2021 under MLD Entertainment.
The group made their final comeback in 2022, with their disbandment being announced in February 2024 by the company.
6. JWiiver
JWiiver made their debut in 2022 under Starweave Entertainment.
The group participated in Peak Time in 2023, but were eliminated early on in the competition. Their status was unknown until member Raots‘s shared a story on Instagram that confirmed the group had disbanded in January 2024.
