K-Pop Idol Friendships Are On Display At The 2022 Seoul Jazz Festival
The Seoul Jazz Festival returned for the first time since 2019 this weekend. Thousands of people packed Olympic Park in Seoul for food, drinks, fun, and of course amazing music!
Friendships were on full display as K-Pop idols enjoyed their downtime at the festival. Here are a few of the stars that were spotted in attendance.
1. Red Velvet’s Irene and Wendy
Red Velvet‘s Irene and Wendy showed their close bond as they spent their time together at the festival. The two snapped some pics with drinks in hand as they waited to watch the performances.
Wendy’s mom even joined the two!
2. HOLLAND and Red Velvet’s Yeri
Solo artist HOLLAND and Red Velvet’s Yeri spent time together at the event. HOLLAND shared their friendship on his Twitter page.
Yeri shared more pictures and a clip of them watching AKMU perform on her Instagram.
3. Somi and Jamie
Solo artists Somi and Jamie hung out while attending the festival. Somi shared pics of the two on her Instagram story and captioned it “two blondies.”
4. Somi and Weki Meki’s Doyeon
The two former I.O.I members reunited and stunned fans with their tall height and visuals.
While at the festival, Somi and Weki Meki‘s Doyeon connected with American R&B artist and one of the festival’s featured performers, Pink Sweat$. Together, they filmed a TikTok to Somi’s song “Anymore.”
5. Eric Nam and DAVII
After traveling across the world for his There and Back Again World Tour 2022, Eric Nam is back in Korea and enjoying the 2022 Seoul Jazz Festival before continuing his tour on June 4.
While at the festival, he met up with singer-songwriter DAVII. They previously showed their friendship when DAVII was a guest on DIVE Studios‘ podcast, Daebak Show w/ Eric Nam.
6. Shim So Young with Dreamcatcher’s SuA and Yoohyeon
Dreamcatcher members SuA and Yoohyeon met up with SM C&C actress Shim So Young at the event.
7. HyunA and DAWN
Friends and fiancés, HyunA and DAWN, enjoyed their time at the festival, where DAWN took an adorable video of HyunA dancing to the live music.
8. Pink Sweat$ and BTS’s Jungkook
Pink Sweat$ shocked fans when he posted a TikTok with none other than BTS‘s Jungkook at the festival. The two were able to meet just before Jungkook left for the US.
Pink Sweat$ has previously shown his love for the idol group when he tweeted that he would love to work with Jimin, who is known to be a fan of Pink Sweat$, and BTS.
