9 K-Pop Idols Re-Imagined As Famous Cats… Seriously!
What does the Internet collectively love as much as (or perhaps even more than) K-Pop? If you guess “cats”, you’re absolutely correct! There’s no prize, except for being able to gloat about being right.
So, we wondered if idols were famous cats, who would be who? Here’s what we came up with!
1. Grumpy Cat
The late, great Grumpy Cat was one of the Internet’s original kitty icons.
Who else could be Grumpy Cat except for BIGBANG‘s TOP?
2. Bongo Cat
Bongo Cat is another big obsession on the Internet. One of the newer good bois on the block, Bongo Cat is quite the bebe compared to other animated kitties!
Do you know who else is good at the drums? MAMAMOO‘s Solar!
3. Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty is one of Japan’s most popular international exports. She’s super kawaii and represents all the good things in the world.
TWICE‘s Mina is also a softie who inspires others to do and be good.
4. Lil Bub
Lil Bub is surely a cutie with that little “mlep” tongue.
The first person we thought of was Lovelyz‘s Jisoo, who has a habit of sticking out her tongue!
5. Tigger
Tigger is a tiger, which is technically a cat, just not a housecat. lol Anyway, this lovable bundle of energy is always hopping about…
… A bit like TWICE’s Dahyun, who is a human energizer!
6. Nyan Cat
Nyan Cat was probably from the first generation of memes on the Interwebs. Everyone can hear the upbeat tune that accompanies the Poptart cat flying through space.
Red Velvet’s Wendy has the same adorable vibe as Nyan Cat, and now that we’ve said it, we can’t unsee it.
7. Garfield
Garfield has been around for what feels like an eternity. He very well may be from the first generation of popular cartoon cats. With his endless hunger, love of food, and deadpan humor he’s funny and relatable.
Like Garfield, MAMAMOO‘s Hwasa is also hungry and has a deep appreciation for food. In fact, she makes food look so good that she makes it sell out just by eating it!
8. Venus the Two-Faced Kitten
Venus first attracted the attention of netizens for the distinct two-toned split down the center of its face.
Likewise, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is always associated with his fun and funky hairstyles and colors.
9. Maru
Maru is the visual definition of “if I fits, I sits“.
TWICE’s Momo is also known for sitting where she wants (and looking cute AF doing it).
What did you think of our list? Do you agree or would you have re-imagined things a bit differently?
